Job summary

Schneider Electric seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design non-standard mechanical parts for LV and MV, issue stock requisition, and support the PM during offers and order execution. You will optimize material usage and ensure compliance with SHE requirements while driving design efficiency.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical degree (D3) or equivalent, 2 years in the field, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Schneider software tools. English and Indonesian languages are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical degree or D3 is required for this role.
• At least 2 years of experience in the same field.
• Background in mechanical engineering with basic electrical knowledge.
• Proficiency in English and Indonesian; familiarity with AutoCAD and Schneider tools.

Responsibilities

• Issue non-standard mechanical drawings as part of design deliverables.
• Prepare fabrication and assembling lists for manufacturing.
• Optimize product design for cost, quality, and standardization.
• Improve design efficiency and material selection.
• Support technical clarifications with the project team and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with SHE requirements and work procedures.

• To issue Stock Requisition
• To support PM during offer and order execution
• To optimized selection and the usage of material

What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization?

• To achieve Quality of Service mechanical drawing
• To optimized mechanical design in term of consumption of material, quality and standardization.
• To support PM during make quotation for LV or MV equipment.
• To minimized NQ drawing and NQ SR
• To optimized selection of material/component and awareness raw material
• To ensure the activity and design product comply to Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.

Areas of Responsibility:

• To Issue non standard mechanical drawing
• To prepare fabrication list
• To prepare assembling list
• To optimize design of product
• To optimize selection of material
• To improve efficiency of design
• To support TC for mechanical aspect or tech. clarification
• To be aware of to hazards and environmental aspects, identify hazard in workplace and to ensure risk control being executed to minimize the hazard
• To execute the task accordance with of SHE requirements and work procedure, active participate in implementation of SHE management System and ensure the work process and its result comply with SHE requirements and follow up any SHE related matters

• Having experiences 2 years in the same field

• Language skill in English and Indonesia, AutoCAD and Schneider software tools, Schneider product, Non Schneider product, Computerization
