Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a senior account/BD professional in Jakarta to drive end-user relationship management with Pertamina and its subsidiaries, shape project pipelines, and align Schneider Electric solutions with customer standards.

You will engage cross-functionally with EPC and sales teams, map stakeholders, and identify opportunities to convert them into orders, influencing early stage decisions and ensuring delivery of strategic initiatives within a dynamic energy ecosystem.

What will you do?

1. End User Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key E&C end users, particularly Pertamina and its subsidiaries.
• Establish strong engagement with key decision makers, influencers, engineering, procurement, project, and technical teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, business priorities, and strategic initiatives.

2. Specification & AML Management

• Drive and secure Schneider Electric product specifications within customer standards, specifications, and Approved Manufacturers List (AML).
• Identify opportunities to introduce and promote Schneider Electric solutions into new and existing customer standards.
• Work closely with technical and specification teams to ensure Schneider solutions are aligned with customer requirements.

3. Project Pipeline & Early Engagement

• Proactively identify and monitor upcoming Pertamina projects, from the early planning stage through execution.
• Obtain accurate and timely information regarding project scope, timeline, budget, EPC/contractor involvement, consultants, and key decision makers.
• Build and maintain a reliable project pipeline to enable early engagement and influence project specifications before the tender stage.
• Coordinate with EPC, contractors, consultants, and internal sales teams to maximize project conversion.

4. Customer Organization & Stakeholder Mapping

• Develop a strong understanding of Pertamina Group’s organization structure, including its subsidiaries, business units, project organizations, and key functions.
• Map key stakeholders and decision-making processes to identify the right engagement strategy for each opportunity.
• Maintain an up-to-date customer stakeholder map and organizational knowledge.

5. Business Development & Opportunity Conversion

• Identify new business opportunities and develop account strategies aligned with Schneider Electric’s E&C priorities.
• Influence projects at the early stage to improve Schneider Electric’s positioning and probability of winning.
• Work closely with EPC and National sales teams to ensure effective handover and execution of identified opportunities.

6. Internal Collaboration & Reporting

• Collaborate closely with EPC sales, NS Sales, specification, marketing, product, and technical teams to develop and execute account strategies.
• Provide regular updates on customer engagement, project pipeline, competitive landscape, and key risks/opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely project pipeline updates.
