Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in Indonesia to design non-standard LV/MV mechanical parts, issue stock requisitions, and assist project managers during quotation and order execution. You will focus on optimizing material usage and ensuring designs meet quality, safety, and environmental standards.

You will work with English and Indonesian language requirements, using AutoCAD and Schneider software tools to develop compliant and efficient designs, while supporting the

• Mechanical degree or polytechnic (D3) required.
• 2 years of experience in the same field preferred.
• Mechanical Engineering, Basic Electrical background beneficial.

• To optimize design of product.
• To optimize selection of material.
• To improve efficiency of design.
• To support TC for mechanical aspects or technical clarification.

• To design non standard mechanical parts for LV and MV
• To issue Stock Requisition
• To support PM during offer and order execution.
• To optimized selection and the usage of material

What is the expected contributions of the position to the results of the organization?

• To achieve Quality of Service mechanical drawing
• To optimized mechanical design in term of consumption of material, quality and standardization.
• To support PM during make quotation for LV or MV equipment.
• To minimized NQ drawing and NQ SR
• To optimized selection of material/component and awareness raw material
• To ensure the activity and design product comply to Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental requirements.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Mechanical Degree or Polytechnic ( D3 )
• Having experiences 2 years in the same field
• Mechanical Engineering, Basic electrical
• Language skill in English and Indonesia, Auto cad and Schneider software tools, Schneider product, Non Schneider product, Computerization

Areas of Responsibility:

• To Issue non standard mechanical drawing
• To prepare fabrication list
• To prepare assembling list
• To optimize design of product
• To optimize selection of material
• To improve efficiency of design
• To support TC for mechanical aspect or tech. clarification
• To be aware of to hazards and environmental aspects, identify hazard in workplace and to ensure risk control being executed to minimize the hazard
• To execute the task accordance with of SHE requirements and work procedure, active participate in implementation of SHE management System and ensure the work process and its result comply with SHE requirements and follow up any SHE related matters
