Job summary

KINETIK seeks an Energy Lead based in Jakarta to oversee the energy portfolio, drive strategic development, and coordinate multi-stakeholder efforts to deploy renewable energy and related technologies within Indonesia’s electricity grid. The role emphasizes collaboration with government, donors, and private sector to advance climate-resilient infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for identifying and prioritising energy opportunities that align with climate-resilient development and sustainable infrastructure in Indonesia.
• Coordinate with Head of Climate Resilient Development, Policy Unit, and Financing to ensure end-to-end engagement from policy to financing.
• Engage with Government of Indonesia, international partners, MDBs/DFIs, and private sector to mobilise investment and support energy sector development and policy implementation.
