Job summary

KINETIK seeks an Energy Lead to oversee its energy portfolio, guiding opportunities from concept through delivery in Indonesia. The role involves coordinating with policy, financing and delivery teams to align with climate-resilient infrastructure goals.

You will work with Government of Indonesia institutions, development partners and private sector investors to advance renewable energy, storage and cleaner fuels within the grid and key sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, energy policy, renewable energy, environmental science, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of energy experience in senior advisory, project development, or leadership roles.
• Experience with project development, transaction support, or implementation of sector investments.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for KINETIK energy opportunities and portfolio.
• Lead identification, development and progression of energy initiatives supporting climate-resilient development.
• Support deployment of Renewable Energy, storage and related technologies into Indonesia’s electricity grid.
• Stimulate electrification and alternative fuels uptake for industry, transport and domestic use cases.
• Coordinate with Head of Climate Resilient Development and other functions to ensure end-to-end sector engagement.
