Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking an EMS Operations Manager to lead upstream supply chain performance and supplier management at our contract manufacturing partner. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Industrialization, and Manufacturing teams to proactively manage material availability, capacity, and risk, ensuring on-time delivery and manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has strong experience in EMS or contract manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to work with suppliers on material availability, capacity, and delivery performance.
• Experience managing upstream supply chain risks and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead upstream supply chain performance to ensure material availability for the contract manufacturer.
• Collaborate with suppliers, procurement, planning, and quality teams to mitigate shortages and capacity risks.
• Monitor supplier capacity and implement recovery plans for critical supply constraints.
• Oversee end-to-end manufacturing and operational performance at the contract manufacturer site.
• Drive KPIs such as OTD, OEE, yield, productivity, capacity, and efficiency.
• Build governance with partners and ensure alignment of production priorities with demand.
