Job summary

Schneider Electric in Batam, Indonesia is seeking an Upstream Planning Senior Associate to manage supplier forecasts and inventory parameters alongside Supply Planners.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Planning to optimize demand and supplier performance while driving continuous improvements and inventory accuracy in a global energy leadership environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or college degree.
  • 5–6 years of experience in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Familiar with SAP (or other ERP), understanding of MRP and procurement.
  • Familiar with collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Planning.
  • Excel proficiency beyond basic; good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter with drive to continuously innovate.

  • Ensure suppliers’ capacity and capability for demand.
  • Supplier performance management.
  • Drive improvement projects with suppliers.
  • Update system with inventory parameters working with Supply Planners.
  • Review stocking policy, check UHS and rebalance with Supply Planner.

The Role: Upstream Planning Senior Associate

What will you do?
  • Forecast management with suppliers.

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree
  • At least 5-6 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this positionspecializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Familiar and has used SAP (or other ERP software), understanding of MRP, Procurement
  • Familiar and has collaborated with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Planning
  • Microsoft office tool: Excel (beyond basic), Good communication skill, Negotiation skill
  • Self-starter and has the drive to continuously innovate
