Job summary

Fresh graduates with electrochemistry project experience are welcome; 1+ year hands-on electro-coating is a plus. Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required, Mandarin is a plus, and relocation to Batam may be expected.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor degree in Chemistry or coating technology.

Responsibilities

Adjust electroplating parameters to affect coating quality.
Process parts according to blueprints and process specifications; read simple drawings.
Operate electroplating equipment and instruments such as coating thickness gauges and salt spray test chambers.
Identify defects such as uneven coating, poor adhesion, color deviation, peeling, and pitting.
Analyze root causes to improve yield rate and use Hull cells to optimize chemical solutions.
Maintain the electroplating line process stability by monitoring parameters, yield, and efficiency.
Handle on-site anomalies, participate in new product prototyping, and introduce new processes.
Compile SOPs and process documents, and train operators.
Track replenishment, maintenance, and replacement of plating baths; cooperate with QA audits.
