Job summary

Jabil in West Java, Indonesia, is seeking a Chemical Operator to join the production team. You will manage chemical handling, coating operations, and solution preparation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work under supervision, perform routine maintenance, inventory checks, and contribute to continuous improvement in the chemical processing area. PPE use and strict adherence to procedures are required.

Qualifications

• Vocational chemistry background required.
• At least 1 year of chemical operator experience.
• Knowledge of chemical handling, storage and process management.
• Familiar with MSDS/SDS and hazardous waste handling.
• Ability to use PPE properly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work meets Jabil workmanship standards and monitor targets to fix issues.
• Perform Anodizing, Passivation, and Chemical Conversion Coating operations per qualification docs.
• Mix chemicals and prepare Chemical Process solutions.
• Masking and demasking chemical process parts per procedure.
• Clean parts per Chemical Process documentation.
• Check compressed air quality and report findings.
• Control racks and baskets for parts per procedure.
• Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.
• Maintain 5S order and cleanliness at all times.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all responsibilities.
• Adhere to safety rules and ensure proper PPE usage.
