Job summary

PT Limin Marine & Offshore is seeking an Electrical Engineer for ship and vessel maintenance. The candidate should hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and have at least 2 years of experience in AHT/AHTS environments.

The role involves DP system maintenance, electrical motor repairs, and collaboration with ship crews across Batam and Indonesia. Work location spans ships and shipyards, with a focus on offshore support vessels and DP1/DP2 operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems/ Control & Instrumentation) or Maritime Academy grad in electrical.
• Minimum 2 years experience as Electric Engineer/Technical for AHT/AHTS.
• Experience with maintenance, repair, and servicing of a vessel's Dynamic Positioning system.
• Understanding of automatic control systems, navigation sensors, radar, and DP integration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair DP systems and related electrical components on ships and offshore assets.
• Troubleshoot and service electrical motors and control panels for heavy deck equipment (tug, winches, jaws).
• Work collaboratively with ship crews and shore-based teams to ensure DP readiness.

We're looking Electrical Engineer for Ship/ Vessel Maintenance (AHT/ AHTS) Swith qualification as below :

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems/ Control & Instrumentation), or graduate of Maritime Academy majoring in electrical.

Minimum 2 years experience as Electric Engineer or Technical for AHT/ ATHS.

Understand the processes for maintenance, repair, and routine electrical servicing of a vessel's Dynamic Positioning system.

Understanding of automatic control systems, navigation sensors, radar, and the electrical integration of Dynamic Positioning systems commonly used on AHT/ AHTS vessels.

Capable of maintaining and repairing electric motors and control panel systems for heavy deck equipment (tow and anchor handling winches, shark jaws).

Work Location on Ship/ Shipyard in Batam and around Indonesia.
