Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Solar PV electrical design and project execution.
• Proven experience with Medium Voltage (MV) systems and grid interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and approve electrical designs, SLDs, and interconnection schemes for Rooftop, Ground-Mounted, and Floating PV + BESS systems.
• Manage MV system integration, ensuring proper equipment selection and grid compliance.
• Perform cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and short-circuit/protection coordination studies.
• Liaise with local utilities and grid operators regarding interconnection requirements and approvals.
• Conduct technical reviews of EPC contractor submittals to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Support the site execution team during installation, testing, and commissioning phases of the electrical scope.

Job description

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on working experience in Solar PV electrical design and project execution.

Core Competency: Specific, proven experience handling Medium Voltage (MV) systems and grid interconnection is strictly required.

Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in AutoCAD and PVSyst. Experience with electrical system simulation software (e.g., ETAP, DIgSILENT PowerFactory) is highly preferred.

Skills: Strong understanding of local and international electrical codes (PUIL, IEC, etc.).
