PT Egamekinka Pratama is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage electrical systems for industrial pump installations and maintenance at customer sites. You will ensure motors, control panels, and automation systems operate safely and efficiently according to technical standards.
Responsibilities include installing, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, reading wiring diagrams and SLDs, coordinating with mechanical teams and supporting on-site travels.
An experienced Electrical Engineer is sought to manage electrical systems for industrial pump installation and maintenance at customer project sites. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that pump electrical systems (motors, control panels, automation systems) operate optimally and in accordance with technical standards.
Install, test, and commission industrial pump electrical systems (electric motors, control panels, starters, VFD/inverter)
Troubleshoot and repair (maintenance & repair) pump electrical systems at customer sites
Read and analyse wiring diagrams, SLD, and motor/pump technical specifications
Perform electric motor performance checks (current, voltage, insulation resistance, vibration related to electrical systems)
Coordinate with mechanical teams to ensure synchronisation between electrical systems and pump systems
Handle pump automation control systems (basic PLC, level sensors, pressure switches) as required
Ensure work complies with occupational safety standards (K3) and applicable electrical regulations (PUIL, SNI)
Prepare work reports, findings, and improvement recommendations to supervisors/clients
Willingness to travel to customer sites (within and outside the city) as required by projects
Minimum S1/D3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
1-2 years of work experience in electrical field, preferably related to electric motors, industrial pumps, or rotating equipment
Understanding of motor control panel systems (DOL, Star-Delta, VFD/inverter)
Familiar with reading wiring diagrams and SLD
Understanding of basic automation systems (PLC, sensors, instrumentation) is an added value
Understanding of PUIL, SNI standards, and electrical occupational safety procedures (K3)
Electrical K3 certificate is an added value
Willing to work on-site/field full-time, including willingness to travel outside the city if required
Possess driving licence A/C (if site mobility is required)
Meticulous, highly responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team in the field
