Zusammenfassung

PT LBM Energi Baru Indonesia Batang is seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to develop and implement health and safety programs compliant with regulatory and ISO standards. The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/industrial settings and strong knowledge of applicable regulations.

You will conduct hazard assessments, lead investigations, and drive improvements while ensuring compliance and safety culture across sites in Batang, Central Java.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, RCRA, and EHS regulations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, investigations, and safety compliance activities.
• Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in safety management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to analyze data and identify trends for improvements.
• Experience supporting ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Experience with industrial hygiene, hazardous waste management, and chemical safety programs.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Professional EHS certifications (ASP, CSP, CHMM) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement health and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company standards.
• Conduct hazard studies (e.g., HAZID/HAZOP) to identify workplace/process dangers.
• Ensure sites comply with local laws, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
• Create, test, and update safety policies.
• Lead root-cause analyses for accidents or near-misses and close gaps.
• Design rescue drills, fire safety plans, and spill responses.
• Measure waste, air emissions, and water runoff against limits.
• Walk the floor to check equipment, scaffolding, permits, and PPE.
• Lead safety talks, teach emergency steps, and foster a safety culture.
