Job summary

Pt Tata Elektrikal Instrumen is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to support its plant engineering department in Tangerang. You will create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, equipment, and plant layouts using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Drafter to support their plant engineering department in Tangerang . You will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for mechanical systems, equipment, and facilities, using CAD software. This role requires precision and a strong understanding of mechanical principles to translate designs into accurate documentation that supports maintenance, modification, and construction projects within the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of mechanical components, equipment, and plant layouts using CAD software.
• Update and maintain existing engineering drawings based on modifications or repairs.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure drawings accurately reflect design requirements.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) for drafted designs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, industry regulations, and safety codes.
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation for projects and proposals.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or certification in Mechanical Drafting or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Drafter, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
