Job summary

PT Bintang Mono Internasional is seeking a Mechanical Drafter with 2–3 years of experience to prepare, revise, and maintain mechanical drawings for piping, HVAC, and related systems. You will work with civil, electrical, and plumbing teams to resolve clashes and ensure drawings reflect site conditions and changes.

The candidate should read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications, be proficient in AutoCAD, and understand drawing revision control.

Qualifications

• Minimum D3/S1 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Mechanical Drafter, MEP Drafter, CAD Drafter, or similar position.
• Experience in construction, MEP, industrial, oil & gas, building, or engineering projects is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Able to read and interpret Mechanical drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Familiar with Mechanical systems such as piping, HVAC, equipment, and related installations.
• Understanding of drawing revision and document control.
• Able to coordinate drawings with other disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise Mechanical shop drawings, working drawings, and detail drawings based on engineering requirements.
• Develop Mechanical drawings for piping, HVAC, equipment, and other Mechanical systems as required by the project.
• Review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate Mechanical drawings with Civil, Electrical, Plumbing, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
• Interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
• Incorporate design changes, site conditions, and technical revisions into drawings.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved changes.
• Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders regarding drawing requirements.
• Support the Engineering/Project team in preparing technical documents and drawing submissions.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and revise Mechanical shop drawings, working drawings, and detail drawings based on engineering requirements.

Develop Mechanical drawings for piping, HVAC, equipment, and other Mechanical systems as required by the project.

About you
