Job summary

Kalsy Furniture gallery in Bali (Denpasar) seeks a detail-oriented Drafter to support our design and production teams by preparing accurate working drawings for interior projects. You will create plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings for interiors such as cabinetry and custom pieces.

Coordinate with designers and site teams to ensure drawings are practical and ready for production, revise as needed, and maintain organized project documentation with high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Drafter or in a similar technical drawing position.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and/or other drafting software.
• Able to read and understand interior design drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, construction details, materials, and installation requirements.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience preparing working drawings for interior, joinery, cabinetry, or custom-built projects is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed working drawings based on approved designs, measurements, and project requirements.
• Prepare technical drawings for interior elements such as kitchens, wardrobes, built-in cabinets, wall panels, doors, vanities, beds, sofas, tables, and other custom items.
• Produce plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings required for production and installation.
• Clearly specify dimensions, materials, finishes, hardware, construction details, and other relevant information in the drawings.
• Coordinate with Interior Designers, Project Consultants, Production Teams, and Site Teams to ensure drawings are practical and accurate.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, design changes, client requests, and production feedback.
• Check measurements and ensure consistency between drawings, site dimensions, and approved designs.
• Prepare drawings that are easy for the production and installation teams to understand and follow.
• Maintain organized drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Identify potential technical or construction issues before drawings are released for production.
