Job summary

PT Mitra Bali Sukses (Mie Gacoan) seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Medan distribution center and warehouse operations. You will optimize inbound/outbound logistics, inventory control, and team performance to ensure productivity and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Job description

Operational Management: Oversee daily distribution center (DC) and warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, order fulfillment, and outbound logistics.

Supply Chain & Demand Planning: Collaborate with supply chain and demand planning teams to optimize stock levels, prevent stockouts, and manage inventory movement efficiently.

Inventory Control & Audit: Maintain high inventory accuracy through routine stock counts, internal control implementation, and shrinkage reduction strategies.

Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and evaluate the DC staff and operational team to maintain high productivity, health, and safety standards.

Process & Cost Optimization: Streamline logistics processes, manage operating budgets, and identify cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) or Master's Degree (S2) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.

Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in Distribution Center, Warehouse, or Logistics Management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and supply chain metrics/KPIs.

Solid understanding of demand planning, inventory control, and logistics distribution networks.

Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and team management capabilities.

Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving, and budget management skills.
