PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) is seeking a seasoned Head of Business Development to identify and evaluate growth opportunities, oversee feasibility studies, and develop investment proposals. You will lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with executives to translate strategic ideas into actionable projects that boost value and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in business-related fields, at least 10 years in business development, proven leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Business Development.
• Proven managerial-level experience in the petrochemical/manufacturing, infrastructure, commercial, or consulting sectors.
• Strong ability to conduct and/or evaluate feasibility studies and develop financial models to support business cases and investment decisions.
• Proven experience in project management and business planning.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to analyze complex data, market trends, and business insights.
• Proven leadership capability in managing teams and delivering multiple projects in parallel.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills, with fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Lead and direct the Business Development team in identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing business opportunities in collaboration with relevant stakeholders to create sustainable value for the Company.
• Oversee the development and execution of proof-of-concept studies to validate the potential and feasibility of selected opportunities before progressing to the next development phase.
• Oversee detailed feasibility studies for approved concepts, ensuring comprehensive assessment of technical, commercial, financial, operational, and other relevant aspects to support informed decision-making.
• Lead the development of investment proposals, including business cases, financial analysis, reports, and management presentations, to provide robust inputs for strategic and investment decisions.
• Build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration, alignment, and timely resolution of issues throughout the business development process.
• Oversee the execution and progress of approved investment projects, ensuring alignment with the approved business case, budget, schedule, scope, and key deliverables.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Business Development team to ensure effective execution of responsibilities, high-quality deliverables, and timely achievement of business objectives.
• Establish the department's mission, objectives, and KPIs, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with and achievement of the Company's strategic targets.
• Lead the department's annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring Business Development priorities, programs, and resource requirements are aligned with the Company's overall strategic direction and financial objectives.
