Job summary

SingaPay in Indonesia is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager (Digital Banking) to lead local technology efforts, bridge software engineering with operations, and ensure compliant, scalable fintech systems.

You will couple hands‑on development with IT governance, work with cross‑functional teams, and guide production support, security, and regulatory audits to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• 5–10 years of technology experience with strong hands‑on software development.
• Experience in digital banking, fintech, payments, or financial services is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of backend development, RESTful APIs, microservices, SQL/NoSQL, distributed systems, and system architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms, Docker/Kubernetes, Redis, message queues, CI/CD, Linux, monitoring, and logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering and system quality for digital banking systems and local components.
• Act as the key local technology interface and coordinate delivery with Product, QA, DevOps, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
• Ensure IT governance, security, and regulatory compliance, including OJK audits and required documentation.
