Job summary

GoTo Financial’s GoPay team in Indonesia is seeking a Payment Compliance Manager to guide regulatory reporting, liaison with Bank Indonesia, and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all obligations. You will lead regulatory engagements, advise stakeholders across Product, Legal, Risk, and Engineering, and drive end-to-end compliance for strategic payment products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs, or related function in payments/fintech.
• Strong knowledge of Bank Indonesia regulations for payment systems, e-money, and PSPs.
• Hands-on experience engaging with regulators (preferably Bank Indonesia).
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance for multiple stakeholders.
• Strong regulatory judgment, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory engagement with Bank Indonesia, including consultations, submissions, examinations, and follow-ups.
• Advise Product, Business, Legal, Risk, Engineering on regulatory implications of new products and initiatives.
• Drive end-to-end regulatory approvals and compliance assessments for strategic payment products.
• Interpret evolving Bank Indonesia regulations and translate into practical guidance, controls, and actions.
• Manage regulatory self-assessment, audit and remediation programs from findings to closure.
• Build cross-functional alignment with senior stakeholders and Bank Indonesia for consistent regulatory positioning.
