Job summary

Kredipay is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Jakarta Office. You will design, build, and maintain our production and non-production infrastructure, with a focus on on-premise systems and eventual cloud migration to AWS/GCP. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and operational excellence.

You will work with Linux systems, virtualization technologies, and modern deployment pipelines, contributing to engineering best practices and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Infrastructure/DevOps/System Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Bash and/or Python automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kredipay production and non-production infrastructure.

• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.

Job description

Kredipay is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer in the Jakarta Office. This position will report to the Infrastructure Engineering Lead and will be accountable for building, operating, and continuously improving Kredipay's infrastructure platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and automating modern infrastructure supporting business‑critical workloads. During the early stage of Kredipay, you will primarily work with our on-premise platform while helping establish engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence. As the platform evolves, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our cloud migration journey across AWS and GCP.

About The Job

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting Kredipay production and non-production environments.
• Operate and improve modern on‑premise infrastructure based on virtualization technologies.
• Build automation using Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar tools to eliminate repetitive operational tasks.
• Develop and maintain deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Maintain infrastructure services such as databases, caching platforms, messaging systems, reverse proxies, and monitoring solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot production incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in production on‑call rotations and continuously improve infrastructure reliability.
• Contribute technical ideas, infrastructure improvements, and engineering best practices.
• Participate in Kredipay's infrastructure modernization and future cloud migration initiatives.

About You

• 2 years experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewall).
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Experience writing automation using Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, able to identify problems, propose improvements, and follow through to resolution.
• Exposure to AWS and/or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes (ECS/EKS/GKE), VMware, Proxmox, HAProxy, Percona MySQL, Redis, ActiveMQ, Grafana, or Prometheus is a plus.
