Job summary

Kredivo Group is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer (SDE3) in Indonesia to lead infrastructure efforts for Kredivo International. You will architect scalable, secure systems across AWS, GCP, and Kubernetes, owning CI/CD pipelines and incident response while mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with product teams, enforce IaC and observability, and drive cost efficiency in cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance and robust performance across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes experience highly preferred.
• Strong automation experience highly preferred.
• Deep experience with AWS and/or GCP, cloud platforms.
• Hands-on with container orchestration (Kubernetes), AWS ECS, Helm, ArgoCD, service mesh.
• Experience writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Solid Linux, networking, DNS, and performance tuning knowledge.
• Understanding of firewalls, NAT, packet filtering (iptables).
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
• Programming/scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, Jenkins.
• Secrets management experience (AWS KMS, etc).
• Migration of services to cloud and containerization.
• Experience with Atlassian products; JumpCloud is a plus.
• Data analysis and visualization skills.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job description

Kredivo is hiring an Senior DevOps Engineer (SDE3) in Indonesia Office who will be a key technical leader responsible for building, automating, and maintaining infrastructure for Kredivo International, collaborating closely with engineers across products and stakeholders to architect robust CI/CD pipelines, enhance system reliability, and enforce security best practices. This position will report to the Infra Lead and will be accountable for driving initiatives end-to-end and mentoring junior engineers while staying hands-on with the code.

In this role you will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure systems across multiple environments, and for owning and improving CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed, testing coverage, and deployment safety. In addition, you will be responsible for leading incident response and postmortem reviews, enforcing best practices in infrastructure as code and observability, and driving cost optimization across our cloud infrastructure.

About the job

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure systems across multiple environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, ECS etc.)
• Own and improve CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed, testing coverage, and deployment safety
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and postmortem reviews with a focus on preventing recurrence
• Develop and enforce best practices in infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, and observability
• Work closely with engineering teams to guide architectural decisions that support high availability and fault tolerance
• Drive cost optimization and resource efficiency across our cloud infrastructure
• Proactively identify and resolve system bottlenecks, architectural risks, or security vulnerabilities
• Mentor and support junior engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with compliance and cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and compliance with regulations
• Take ownership of high-impact initiatives and lead cross-functional projects

About you

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
• Good experience in Kubernetes highly preferred
• Good experience in automation highly preferred
• Deep experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
• Strong hands-on expertise with container orchestration (Kubernetes), AWS ECS, Helm, ArgoCD and service mesh technologies
• Proven experience writing Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, DNS, and performance tuning
• Deep understanding of firewalls, NAT and packet filtering (specifically Iptables)
• Expertise in observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Scalyr, ELK, or similar)
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Go, or Bash
• Experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipeline, or Jenkins
• Familiarity with secrets management (AWS KMS, etc)
• Familiarity with migration of services and server to the cloud and containers
• Experienced with Atlassian products.
