Job summary

Kredipay is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join the Jakarta Office. You will design, build, and maintain our production and non-production infrastructure, with a focus on on-premise systems and eventual cloud migration to AWS/GCP. The role emphasizes automation, reliability, and operational excellence.

You will work with Linux systems, virtualization technologies, and modern deployment pipelines, contributing to engineering best practices and on-call incident response.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Infrastructure/DevOps/System Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Experience with Bash and/or Python automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kredipay production and non-production infrastructure.
• Operate and improve on-premise infrastructure based on virtualization tech.
• Automate repetitive tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.
• Develop deployment pipelines and infra automation workflows.
• Maintain databases, caching, messaging, and monitoring services.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve reliability.
• Contribute ideas for infra improvements and best practices.
• Support cloud migration initiatives (AWS/GCP) as needed.
