Job summary

Kredipay is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Jakarta to design, build, and operate our infrastructure platform, supporting on-premise systems and guiding our cloud migration to AWS/GCP.

You will work with software engineers to keep services reliable and production-ready, build automation with Bash and Python, and implement CI/CD pipelines while monitoring and optimizing performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Infrastructure/DevOps/Systems Engineering or related fields.
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Experience writing automation with Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform).
• Exposure to AWS and/or GCP is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Kredipay is hiring an Infrastructure Engineer in the Jakarta Office. This position will report to the Infrastructure Engineering Lead and will be accountable for building, operating, and continuously improving Kredipay's infrastructure platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and automating modern infrastructure supporting business-critical workloads. During the early stage of Kredipay, you will primarily work with our on-premise platform while helping establish engineering best practices, automation, and operational excellence. As the platform evolves, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our cloud migration journey across AWS and GCP.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with Software Engineers to ensure infrastructure remains reliable, secure, and production-ready while continuously improving deployment processes and operational efficiency.

About the job:

• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure supporting Kredipay production and non-production environments.

• Participate in Kredipay's infrastructure modernization and future cloud migration initiatives.

About you:

• 2 years experience in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, or related fields.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing, firewall).
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Experience writing automation using Bash and/or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience troubleshooting production systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code or configuration automation (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, able to identify problems, propose improvements, and follow through to resolution.
• Exposure to AWS and/or GCP is a plus.
• Experience with Kubernetes (ECS/EKS/GKE), VMware, Proxmox, HAProxy, Percona MySQL, Redis, ActiveMQ, Grafana, or Prometheus is a plus.
