Job summary

Nostratech in Jakarta is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer who thrives in both on‑prem and cloud environments, focusing on automation and reliability and designing systems that let engineers ship software faster.

You will own infrastructure, run Kubernetes workloads, codify with Terraform and GitOps, and automate with Bash or Python. You’ll improve CI/CD pipelines and the SDLC, and explore agentic AI workflows as part of a collaborative, fast‑paced team.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and years of extensive experience in system infrastructure administration and engineering in on-premise and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of workloads running on Kubernetes.
• Ability to design infrastructure solutions selecting the right tool for the right use case.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitOps practices.
• Automation scripting in Bash or Python.
• Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and the SDLC lifecycle.
• Experience with agentic workflows using AI to speed up routine tasks.
• Excellent communication in English.

Nice to Have

The Role

As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the infrastructure that runs our products across on-premise and cloud environments. You'll run workloads on Kubernetes, codify infrastructure with Terraform and GitOps, automate repetitive toil with Bash and Python, and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines and SDLC. You'll also help us adopt agentic AI workflows to speed up routine infrastructure work.

You'll work directly with our engineers, Product Managers, and stakeholders in a highly collaborative manner. This approach requires a huge amount of teamwork and maturity and is not right for everyone, but we believe it's the best way to create great software.
