Job summary

HTC Global Services is seeking a senior Data Migration Architect to own the end-to-end data migration strategy and architecture, ensuring accurate, secure transfers aligned with target ERP or platform architectures. You will lead culture-shaping data governance and risk-mitigated cutover planning for large-scale programs.

Required are 11–16 years IT/data experience with 6+ years in data migration or data architecture, plus hands-on source-to-target mapping, ETL/ELT, and ERP data migration

Qualifications

• Minimum 11–16 years total IT / data experience 6+ years as Data Migration Architect / Data Architect
• Proven experience leading large-scale or mission-critical data migration programs
• Hands-on experience with source-to-target data mapping and lineage, data transformation and reconciliation frameworks
• Familiar with data migration in ERP / packaged solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Oracle) or custom/platform-based apps
• Solid understanding of ETL / ELT concepts, data quality, profiling, and cleansing strategies
• Knowledge of data governance, access control, audit trails, and cutover/rollback strategies

Responsibilities

• Oversee migration testing, dress rehearsals, cutover execution, and post-migration validation

Job description

- Own and govern the end‑to‑end data migration strategy and architecture, ensuring that data is migrated accurately, securely, and in alignment with target system architecture and business requirements.

- Define the overall data migration strategy, including: Migration approach (phased vs big‑bang), Cutover and rollback strategy, Data scope, sequencing, and dependencies

- Assess and analyze: Legacy/source systems, Data structures, volumes, and data quality risks

- Define and review Data mapping standards, Data quality rules and acceptance criteria

- Ensure alignment with Target application architecture (ERP / COTS / custom), Enterprise data standards and governance

- Identify and mitigate risks related to Data loss, corruption, duplication, and security exposure

- Oversee migration testing, dress rehearsals, cutover execution, and post‑migration validation

- Provide migration status, risk updates, and readiness assessments to project leadership

Req:

Minimum 11–16 years total IT / data experience 6+ years as Data Migration Architect / Data Architect

- Solid understanding of: ETL / ELT concepts and tooling, Data quality, profiling, and cleansing strategies

- Knowledge of: Data governance, access control, and audit trail requirements, Cutover planning and rollback strategies

- Able to translate business rules into enforceable data transformation logic

- Data Quality: rules, profiling, matching, referential integrity; audit & reconciliation. Security & Privacy: masking/anonymization, encryption, role based access, UU PDP and other relevan regulatory policy
