Job summary

Nestlé Indonesia is seeking a Data Governance Manager to lead the local data governance strategy across functions and businesses. You will ensure reliable, well-managed data to improve decision-making, efficiency, and performance.

You will partner with business leaders to define the roadmap, promote global data tools, and ensure compliance with Group guidelines, while building a practical, local operating model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or a related area.
• Understanding of how data supports major end-to-end business processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear English communication and ability to lead change.
• Familiarity with data governance tools and data literacy programs.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team and managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Build stakeholder support for data governance across functions and businesses.
• Turn business needs into a clear roadmap and coordinate resources.
• Establish the local data governance operating model with roles and ownership.
• Improve data quality, consistency, and controls across privacy, compliance, and lineage.
• Drive adoption of enterprise data solutions and reduce local duplication.
• Monitor KPIs and lead continuous improvement in data maturity and automation.
• Support governance forums, decisions, and escalation channels.
