Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Sales Development Specialist for Indonesia's Data Centre segment. The role focuses on driving business development, technical specification adoption, and project pipeline growth from early design through tendering and execution.

You will engage M&E consultants, quantity surveyors, contractors, developers, and Data Centre owners, leveraging HVAC and pump expertise to influence specifications and commercial decisions, while coordinating with CBS Sales and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, or Project Management (3–7 years).
• HVAC/MEP or CBS industry experience preferred.
• Data Centre project experience and tendering knowledge desired.
• Proven ability to influence consultant specifications and commercial decisions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building.
• Proficiency with SAP CRM or similar CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage Data Centre opportunities from design to execution.
• Collaborate with M&E consultants and quantity surveyors to promote pumping/HVAC solutions.
• Establish relationships with contractors, developers, and data centre operators during tendering and construction.
• Build long-term opportunities with data centre owners and relevant authorities.
• Provide technical and commercial support for pump systems in HVAC and building applications.
• Support segment sales with market research, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with CBS Sales, engineering and project teams to drive execution.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, quotations, and project opportunities.
