Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking a Sales Development Specialist in Jakarta to drive business development in Indonesia's Data Centre segment. The role focuses on identifying opportunities from design through tendering, engaging M&E consultants, contractors, and developers to influence specifications and commercial outcomes.

You will work with HVAC and pump solutions, build stakeholder relationships, and support pricing, forecasting, and project coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (S1), preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
• 3–7 years of experience in Technical Sales, Business Development, or Project Management.
• At least 3 years in HVAC, MEP, CBS, or related engineering industries.
• Experience in Data Centre projects involving HVAC systems, project development, tendering, and execution.
• Proven ability to engage M&E consultants, QS, contractors, developers, and Data Centre owners/operators.
• Strong track record in developing project pipelines, securing specifications, and converting opportunities.
• Familiar with SAP CRM or similar CRM for opportunity management and reporting.
• Willingness to travel to sites and work in PPE environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage Data Centre project opportunities from early design through tendering and execution.
• Collaborate with M&E consultants and QS to promote pumping and HVAC solutions and secure specifications.
• Build relationships with contractors, developers, and operators to improve conversion and sales win rates.
• Maintain relationships with Data Centre owners, developers, operators, and authorities to create long-term opportunities.
• Provide technical and commercial support for pump systems in HVAC, plumbing, and building applications.
• Support segment sales with market research, pricing, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with CBS Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and project teams to drive business development and execution.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, quotations, opportunities, and sales reports in line with policies.
