Job summary

Ruangguru For Business is seeking a Technician – Data Center to perform setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center hardware, servers, and network devices. You will ensure operational readiness and contribute to safe, reliable facility operations.

The role requires hands-on hardware skills, ability to work across locations, and proactive reporting. You will interact with vendors, manage RMA processes, maintain asset inventories, and support incident and change management while

Qualifications

High school diploma required; additional technical training is a plus.
Experience with servers and storage equipment beneficial.
Familiar with data center operations and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

Perform weekly sweeps of server and storage equipment and collect logs.
Diagnose connectivity issues and perform basic network troubleshooting.
Engage vendor support by opening cases and tracking fixes.
Coordinate with operations for break-and-fix activities and vendor escorts.
Manage RMA processes for components like PSUs and switches.
Provide hardware support for moves, adds, and changes; decommission IT equipment.
Maintain asset inventory and update documentation.
Monitor capacity in space, power, cooling, and patch panel ports.
Follow incident and change management processes; submit regular reports.
Light traveling from site to site.
