Job summary

MatchaTalent is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer (Data Center) to design and deliver advanced cooling solutions for large-scale facilities in South Jakarta, Indonesia. You will lead end-to-end engineering, from heat load and airflow analysis to equipment selection and on-site support.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in HVAC or mechanical project delivery, strong data center cooling knowledge, and proficiency in AutoCAD and CFD modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design and thermal engineering.
• Experience with data center cooling systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water, DX, CRAH/CRAC, and energy efficiency.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and CFD modeling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical cooling solutions for large-scale data centers.
• Perform heat load calculations and airflow analysis.
• Select and evaluate HVAC equipment for energy efficiency.
• Coordinate with electrical, BMS, and other MEP systems.
• Lead design reviews with clients and contractors.
• Review supplier specifications and resolve engineering issues.
• Support construction and site deployment with technical guidance.
• Conduct site inspections and troubleshoot thermal issues.
• Assist with commissioning and system handover.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
