Job summary

CBRE seeks an Asset Management (Warehouse) Lead to manage end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. This role ensures efficient inventory control, safe handling of materials, and smooth daily operations while leading a team to meet service, productivity, and accuracy standards.

You will oversee daily operations, plan schedules, forecast workload, enforce policies, maintain accurate inventory, and coach staff.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping/receiving operations.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
• Valid forklift operating license.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Strong organizational and analytical/problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations including inbound receiving, storage, and outbound distribution.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping and receiving schedules for timely delivery and workflow.
• Lead day-to-day warehouse activities and ensure tasks meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast workload and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Establish and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and standards.
• Determine storage methods and stock locations based on product type and turnover.
• Maintain accurate inventory with regular physical counts and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper use of warehouse systems to track movement and inventory levels.
• Monitor warehouse safety and security and maintain compliance.
• Maintain warehouse facility and equipment, including layout planning and repairs.
• Track stock usage, damages, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service.
• Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse staff; plan staffing and schedules.

About The Role

What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee daily warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, storage, and outbound distribution
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping and receiving schedules to ensure timely delivery and optimal workflow
• Lead day-to-day warehouse activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and within deadlines
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast workload demand, align on priorities, and resolve scheduling conflicts
• Establish and enforce warehouse policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Determine appropriate storage methods and stock locations based on product type, turnover rates, and space utilization
• Maintain accurate inventory by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies with system records
• Ensure proper use of warehouse systems to track materials movement and inventory levels
• Monitor warehouse safety and security by enforcing procedures and maintaining compliance with guidelines
• Maintain the warehouse facility and equipment, including layout planning, inspections, and coordinating repairs or replacements
• Track and report on stock usage, damages, and operational performance as needed
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery
• Supervise, coach, and support warehouse staff to achieve operational goals
• Plan staffing levels, manage work schedules, and monitor productivity (including overtime when required)

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or shipping & receiving operations
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a warehouse environment
• Valid forklift operating license
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and safety practices
• Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and handle sensitive situations
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and warehouse systems
