Job summary

DayOne seeks a seasoned project manager to lead end-to-end integration projects for new data centre capacity. You will coordinate with design, construction and operations teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.

You will collaborate with capacity planning, develop operational readiness plans, and manage risks to keep deployments running smoothly. The role requires 5+ years in data centre operations and project management, with PMP/PRINCE2

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre operations with capacity planning and integration.
• Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are preferred.
• Strong understanding of data centre infrastructure (servers, networking, storage, cooling).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration projects for new data centre capacity, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to understand future requirements and ensure seamless integration.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and operations teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and execute operational readiness plans, including testing, documentation, and training.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise operational impact.
• Provide regular updates and status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
