Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Operations Leader to direct mechanical, electrical, and BMS engineering teams across critical data centre facilities.

You will oversee 24/7 shifts, drive reliability, and implement SOPs to sustain high availability while aligning with safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years in data centre operations with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, generators, UPS, and BMS.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to work under pressure.
• Certification in data centre management (CDCP, CDCS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams to ensure high performance.
• Oversee the 24/7 shift team, ensuring effective communication and coordination to maintain continuous operations.
• Ensure the efficient and reliable operation of critical systems and develop SOPs for maintenance and emergencies.
• Manage infrastructure projects, including upgrades, expansions, and maintenance, within scope and budget.
• Ensure all operations meet SLAs and track KPIs; address issues promptly.
