Job summary

DayOne is seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to oversee multiple centres in a 24/7 environment. You will lead technical teams, coordinate maintenance with vendors, and ensure uptime and compliance with SLAs across sites including Batam, Indonesia.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in data centre operations, 3–5 years in management, and strong knowledge of power, cooling and networking. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology.
• Fluent in English.
• 7–10 years in data centre operations with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, network).

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple data centres, ensuring 100% uptime and SLA compliance.
• Lead, mentor and develop operations and technical staff with 24/7 coverage.
• Plan and coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance with vendors.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and site accreditations (ISMS, SOC2, PCI DSS).
• Collaborate with customer support for swift service delivery.
• Support strategic initiatives, budgeting and cost management.
