Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Data Analyst to gather requirements and translate them into BI-driven solutions in a dynamic team.

The role requires at least 3 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS, and strong SQL skills with experience in Tableau, Power BI or Looker. You will collaborate with internal teams and users to deliver insightful analytics and improve business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience.
• Understanding of relational database concepts.
• Proficient in writing and interpreting SQL queries.
• Experience with data processing, data cleansing, data wrangling.
• Experience creating data visualizations with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
• Strong understanding of basic statistics.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g SAP) and understanding of business processes.

1. Requirements Gathering & Business Requirements Analysis
2. Identify and translate user requirement into Business Intelligence (BI) driven solutions
3. Translate business need into requirement and documentation (BPS, RDM, MoM, UAT, etc)

Qualifications

1. Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, System Information, Computer Science, or related field
2. Experience: Min 3 years experience
3. Skills:
   • Understanding of relational database concepts.
   • Proficient in writing and interpreting SQL queries.
   • Skilled in data processing, including data cleansing and data wrangling.
   • Experienced in creating data visualization using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc).
   • Strong understanding of basic statistics.
