Job summary

PT Abadi Sejahtera Finansindo (Head Office) is seeking a BI Analyst to join our IT team and turn data into actionable business insights. You will build and maintain dashboards, perform data analysis, ensure data quality, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to support data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with BI tools, and a solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and fintech metrics such as conversion, retention, and LTV.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant fields.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a BI Analyst or Data Analyst in fintech/banking/e-commerce preferred.
• Strong SQL with complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase.
• Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong analytical and data storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Dashboard design, build, and maintenance of automated dashboards and reports.
• Ad-hoc data analysis, cohort studies, trend analysis to identify opportunities.

Job description

We are looking for a BI Analyst to join our IT team and help transform data into actionable business insights. You will be responsible for building and maintaining dashboards, conducting data analysis, ensuring data quality, and partnering with Product and Engineering teams to support data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, hands‑on experience with BI and data visualization tools, and a good understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and fintech business metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across products and operations.

Data Analysis & Insights: Conduct ad-hoc analysis, cohort studies, trend analysis, and other data investigations to identify business opportunities and bottlenecks.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to define data requirements, tracking points, and ensure alignment with data pipelines.

Data Quality & Governance: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across database tables and reporting platforms.

Strategic Recommendations: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for management and cross‑functional teams.

Business Metrics: Analyze and monitor relevant fintech metrics such as conversion rate, retention, LTV, CAC, transaction volume/GMV, and cohort performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or in a similar role; experience in Fintech, Banking, or E-commerce is preferred.

Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization.

Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, BigQuery, or similar platforms.

Hands‑on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, or equivalent.

Good understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to turn data into meaningful business insights.

Strong data storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.

Familiarity with financial data regulations and compliance, particularly OJK/BI.

Experience working with fintech or financial services data.
