Job summary

BINUS University in Jakarta is seeking a junior Security System Administrator to help maintain and protect our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on server and network security, incident response, and improving operational reliability.

You will work with a team to implement security controls, monitor systems, document procedures, and ensure compliance with IT standards while growing professionally in a dynamic university environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or university student (6th semester) in Computer Studies.
• No working experience required.
• Knowledge of system administration, hardware, software and networks.
• Awareness of security tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing for server and network, fix errors and address vulnerabilities.
• Support research on products, services, protocols, and standards to secure data center development.
• Improve database and system operation performance, and document quality procedures.
• Ensure software and hardware products comply with IT Infrastructure standards.
• Support cyber security activities related to analysis of databases, networks and server.
• Implement, support, and monitor network security devices to protect against intrusions.
• Create, maintain, and submit information system security documents.

Maintain Security System:

• Performtesting process forserver and network, correct errors and make necessary modificationsif there is vulnerability in current infrastructure.
• Supportresearch on products, services, protocols, and standardstosecureofall network anddata center development effort.
• Provides continual improvements ondatabase and systemoperational performances, quality procedures documentation, and organizational efficiency by ensuringsecuritytools and processes.
• Ensureall software and hardware products compliance to IT Infrastructure department standards and systems.
• Supportcyber securityactivities related to analysisofdatabase, networks andserversystemoperationaland implement all data center plans.
• Implement, support, and monitor network security devices to protect against internal and external intrusions, attacks, and hacks.
• Creating, maintaining and submitting information system security documents.
