Job summary

PT Peoplyee Tech Indonesia is seeking an experienced customs clearance professional to lead import/export clearance operations. You will manage declarations, documents, and communications in line with Indonesian regulations, driving timely outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 10 years in customs brokerage or clearance within logistics, plus PPJK or equivalent certification and strong networks with Indonesian authorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in any major.
• English language proficiency is required.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in customs brokerage or customs clearance management within a logistics or freight forwarding company.
• Valid Customs Brokerage Services Management certification or customs broker certification (PPJK is a must).
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations.
• Established working relationships with Indonesian customs authorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage customs clearance processes for import and export shipments.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations and supporting documents in compliance with Indonesian customs regulations.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, clients, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure timely customs clearance.
• Monitor shipment status and resolve customs-related issues, discrepancies, and delays.
• Ensure all customs procedures, declarations, and documentation comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise clients on customs procedures, required documentation, duties, taxes, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and well-organized records of customs documents, transactions, and communications.
• Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with customs authorities and other relevant stakeholders.
• Perform other customs-related duties assigned by management.
