Job summary

Lonza, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Jakarta, Indonesia. This on-site role supports the sales team, processes orders, handles quotations, and manages customer inquiries and complaints to ensure timely deliveries of products.

Applicants should have a degree in business or related field, strong communication skills, and experience with export/import documentation for SEA. Knowledge of SAP/SFDC is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline.
• Extensive customer service experience with exposure to import/export documentation for SEA.
• Experience in Chemical, Food, Pharma, Medical or Logistics industries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SAP and SFDC.
• Excellent communication and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team to reach sales objectives.
• Handle customer requirements, assist in quotations, technical support enquiries, quality issues and customer complaints.
• Manage customer forecasts according to GDP guidelines.
• Process samples requests and generate weekly sales reports.
• Follow up on overdue payments with finance coordination.
• Generate customer orders and ensure timely delivery while assisting inventory management.

Customer Solutions Specialist

The actual location of this job is in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction for standard account base. The role will ensure smooth order / delivery processing of products to our customers. This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

• Support the sales team to reach sales objectives.
• Handling customer requirements, assist in quotations, technical support enquiries, quality issues and customer complaints.
• Managing customer forecast according to GDP (Good Distribution Practice) guideline.
• Process samples request and to generate weekly sales reports.
• Follow up on customer overdue payments with coordination with finance.
• Generate customer orders, sales relevant information into the system correctly and ensure timely delivery of right products to customers and assist with Inventory management.

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Business Administration, Customer Service or any relevant discipline.
• Significant years of relevant Customer Service experience and with exposure in import/export documentation for the different SEA countries.
• Understands the required document support for export sales.
• Work experience in industries like Chemical, Food, Pharma, Medical or Logistic (freight forwarder / shipping company) or related.
• Good commercial acumen and hands‑on experience supporting sales personnel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft, Excel, SAP and SFDC.
• Excellent communication skills.
