About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service representative to join our team in Tangerang, Banten on a full-time basis. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience with PT Ocean Centra Furnindo. This position is essential to maintaining our reputation for outstanding customer care and plays a vital role in building customer loyalty and satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email, chat and other communication channels in a timely and professional manner
• Addressing customer complaints and concerns with empathy and finding effective solutions
• Providing accurate information about products, pricing, delivery and warranty terms
• Processing customer orders, returns and exchanges efficiently
• Maintaining detailed customer records and documentation in our system
• Following up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any outstanding issues
• Collaborating with other departments including sales, logistics and warehouse teams to support customer needs
• Identifying and reporting customer feedback and suggestions for service improvement
• Meeting and exceeding established customer service targets and performance metrics

What we're looking for

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in Indonesian and English
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to remain calm under pressure
• Proven customer service experience, ideally in a retail, furniture or similar customer-facing environment
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications
• High level of organisation and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively within a team whilst also working independently
• Professional telephone etiquette and a genuine desire to help customers
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in customer service are advantageous
