Job summary

Famsun in Jakarta is seeking a senior government affairs professional to lead the country’s public relations strategy and to interpret government policies for ToG projects. You will support the AR Project Director in planning and delivering ToG initiatives while cultivating a healthy government-business ecosystem in Indonesia.

The role requires a strong network with government authorities and a track record of navigating ministerial-level environments to advance ToG business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field; majors preferred include Public Administration, Political Science, Agricultural Economics, Engineering Management.
• Solid experience in government affairs and public relations in the host country; access to ministerial level resources is highly preferred.
• Experience with government sales and large government project layouts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort out the decision-making chain of government entities and manage high-level public relations, including ministerial level engagements.
• Interpret country policies and mine government business clues and resources for ToG projects.
• Assist the AR Project Director in planning ToG projects and promoting their implementation and delivery.
• Build the country business and investment environment and create a supportive government-business ecosystem for ToG development.

Job description

1. 1.Responsible for sorting out the decision-making chain of Country governments and political parties, managing public relations operations, and achieving breakthroughs in high-level public relations at ministerial level and above.
2. 2.Responsible for interpreting Country policies and mining government business clues and resources.
3. 3.Assist the AR Project Director in planning ToG projects and promoting their implementation and delivery.
4. 4.Responsible for building the Country business and investment environment, and creating a sound government-business ecosystem for ToG business development.

I. Educational Background (Requirements on academic degree, major, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree or above. Majors in Public Administration, Political Science, Agricultural Economics, Engineering Management and other related disciplines are preferred.

II. Work Experience (Industry & Benchmark Enterprises)

Solid working experience in government affairs and public relations in the host country; prior experience in government sales is preferred. Candidates with access to resources at ministerial level and above in the host country are highly preferred.

Experience working at to G business companies , central state-owned enterprises, local state-owned enterprises or large private enterprises with extensive government project layouts is a plus.

Proficient in business communication and commercial affairs capabilities.
