Job summary

PT SCC Beauty Cosmetic is seeking a Senior R&D Researcher for the Process Development Team in Kendal, Central Java. You will lead process development, scale-up, and validation of cosmetic products for internal and OEM factories, ensuring timely launches and minimizing risks.

You will research and develop manufacturing processes, perform risk assessments, and guide the team to solve technical issues, optimize production, and improve efficiency while maintaining quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above (Pharmacyst, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials, or related fields)
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in cosmetic process development and validation.
• Understanding CPKB, Formulation, Halal, Stability Testing and Cosmetic Laboratory Testing
• Knowledge of cosmetic raw materials, formulations and properties of different raw materials
• Knowledge of cosmetic manufacturing equipment
• Background in cosmetic science, colloid and interface chemistry, fluid mechanics / computational fluid dynamics is preferred
• Ability to design manufacturing processes based on cosmetic raw materials and formulations, and to conduct process development and validation
• Ability to optimize existing cosmetic manufacturing processes to improve efficiency while ensuring production quality
• Fluent in English is a must, (Mandarin will be advantage)
• Willing to be placed in Kendal, Central Java

Responsibilities

• Responsible for process development, process scale-up, and validation of new cosmetic products produced by internal factories and OEM factories, ensuring timely and smooth product launches and minimizing process risks.
• Research and develop manufacturing processes for new products.
• Conduct process risk assessments and develop process development and validation plans.
• Lead the Process Development Team in supporting internal factories and OEM factories with technical issues encountered during daily production; assist the Quality and Production Departments in analyzing root causes and identifying solutions, and drive or implement necessary corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive optimization of existing product manufacturing processes to reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
