Job summary

PT Medkes Global Prima is seeking a strategic R&D leader to oversee formulation teams in cosmetics contract manufacturing. You will drive end-to-end product development from lab research to pilot and mass production, ensuring safety, stability, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of leadership experience in formulation, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to translate market trends into successful products in BPOM, GMP, and CPKB environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 in Pharmacy; S2 preferred.
• 5-10 years in formulation, particularly in contract manufacturing and cosmetics.
• Strategic leadership capability in managing R&D teams.
• Strong analytical and raw material quality assessment skills.
• Ability to innovate and follow market trends.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Expertise in product development and sample creation.
• Deep understanding of BPOM, GMP, and CPKB regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage R&D teams with strategic oversight.
• Develop and formulate products, including sample creation.
• Oversee the complete product lifecycle from lab-scale research, pilot scale, to mass production.
• Ensure formulated products meet safety and stability standards before market release.
• Formulate strategic policies for product development aligned with market trends and company targets.
• Conduct analysis and quality assessment of raw materials.
• Make strategic decisions regarding formulation that impact production costs and product effectiveness.
• Maintain deep understanding of BPOM, GMP, and CPKB regulations.
