Star Energy Geothermal is looking for a Corporate Trainer Senior Specialist to bring our enterprise learning agenda to life. As an in-house trainer within the Corporate Academy and Leadership Development function, you will help strengthen the capabilities, leadership behaviors, and culture needed to support our organization’s continued growth.
In this role, you will deliver corporate competency, leadership, behavioral, and selected non-operational technical programs using the 70-20-10 learning model. You will connect classroom learning with coaching, shadowing, mentoring, digital learning, and workplace application, while using learning analytics to continuously improve program effectiveness and business impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging corporate competency, leadership development, behavioral, and selected non-operational technical learning programs across the organization.
- Champion the learning calendar and ensure classroom training, coaching, shadowing, and mentoring activities are delivered effectively and on schedule.
- Bring the 70-20-10 learning model to life by connecting formal learning with on-the-job experience, coaching, mentoring, and self-directed development.
- Analyse learning effectiveness and behavioral outcomes, then translate insights into practical recommendations for program improvement.
- Facilitate culture programmes, including culture champion cascades, to strengthen shared behaviours across the organisation.
- Curate enterprise digital and self-directed learning experiences, run learning utilisation challenges, and maintain the learning analytics dashboard.
- Manage training delivery relationships with external vendors, set clear quality expectations, and provide performance feedback.
- Collaborate with Corporate Programme Development on module readiness and with Shared Services on programme execution and administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organisational Development, Communication, a technical discipline, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an advantage.
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in learning delivery, corporate training, facilitation, or capability development.
- Proven experience delivering behavioural and technical competency programmes, as well as facilitating coaching, shadowing, and mentoring activities.
- Experience using learning analytics and behavioural outcomes to evaluate impact and improve learning delivery.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, communication, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management capabilities.
- Train-the-Trainer, facilitation, coaching, learning analytics, or instructional delivery certification is an advantage.
- Experience in energy, resources, infrastructure, or another complex industry is preferred, with the ability to deliver learning across functions and locations.
