Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Hospitality/Culinary background preferred).
• Proven experience in a high-volume professional kitchen or similar F&B role.
• Deep understanding of cooking techniques (poaching, boiling, slow cooking, sauteing, roasting, mixing).
• Strong communication skills, ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and maintain high personal hygiene with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and Kitchen Playbook specs.
• Execute food plating based on BAKED. Food Plating Standard.
• Run specific station flows (Pass Hot, Pass Cold, Hot Stove, Hot Grill, or Bread Station) to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment.
• Execute daily opening/closing checklists.
• Prepare and pack takeaway/delivery orders with high attention to detail (correct packaging, order items).
• Attend to FOH concerns, offer immediate apologies, and execute service recovery to ensure a positive guest experience.

The Culinary Associate (Cook/Chef) is responsible for the precise preparation, cooking, and plating of all food items across various kitchen stations (Hot Stove, Hot Grill, Bread, Pass Hot and Pass Cold). This role is vital in maintaining the BAKED. Standard of consistency, speed, and quality, ensuring every plate that leaves the pass meets the brand’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and the Kitchen Playbook specs.
- Execute food plating based on BAKED. Food Plating Standard.
- Running specific station flows (Pass Hot, Pass Cold, Hot Stove, Hot Grill, or Bread Station) to ensure fast and accurate order fulfillment.
- Execute daily opening/closing checklists.
- Prepare and pack takeaway/delivery orders with high attention to detail (correct packaging, order items, etc).
- Actively listen to FOH regarding customer concerns, offer immediate apologies, and execute "Service Recovery" steps to ensure the customer leaves with a "feel-good" experience despite the issue
