Job summary

PT. Karya Bajatama Raya is seeking a Site Manager on a contract basis to lead on-site operations in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan.

The role requires directing daily construction activities, supervising labour and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in site supervision or management, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with project managers, clients, and design

Qualifications

• Requires minimum 5 years of experience in construction site supervision or management roles.
• Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and local regulations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate diverse teams.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specs and project docs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities and operations on site to ensure schedules and specs are met.
• Manage site personnel, labourers, craftsmen, and subcontractors with clear direction.
• Monitor progress and maintain records of work, labour hours, and material usage.
• Enforce health and safety protocols for a safe working environment and local compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and design teams to resolve issues and ensure clear communication.
• Manage materials and equipment on site, including inventory control and procurement coordination.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to senior management.
• Identify cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements without compromising quality or safety.
• Conduct site inductions and training for all personnel on requirements and safety standards.
• Manage site security and control unauthorised access to construction area.
