Job description

Star Energy Geothermal is looking for a Contract Coordinator to support contract management, procurement coordination, and cost control activities for our Salak Power Plant Operations (PPO) team.

This role is responsible for coordinating the lifecycle of contracts for goods and services, supporting operational and maintenance activities through effective contract administration, budget monitoring, and material management processes. As part of one of Indonesia's largest geothermal operations, this position will contribute to operational reliability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across maintenance and support functions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with maintenance sections and cross-functional teams to develop service and material requirements, specifications, and contract scopes.
  2. Support the planning, administration, monitoring, and execution of contracts for goods and services required by Salak Power Plant Operations.
  3. Liaise with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely procurement processes and contract delivery.
  4. Coordinate outsourcing and contract activities across Salak and other geothermal assets to support operational synergies and resource optimization.
  5. Support the development and implementation of Operations & Maintenance contracting plans aligned with the business plan and budget objectives.
  6. Identify opportunities to improve contract effectiveness, optimize costs, and strengthen contractor performance management.
  7. Coordinate spare parts setup, inventory requirements, and material master data management in SAP and other supporting systems.
  8. Prepare and administer contract-related documentation, including purchase orders, service orders, instructions to perform, instructions to deliver, and contractor payment verification.
  9. Support budget control activities through service entry management, expense monitoring, financial reporting, and cost tracking.
  10. Assist Contract Owners in contract drafting, administration, monitoring, performance evaluation, reporting, and contract amendments.
  11. Participate in procurement and contract evaluation activities, including technical reviews, bid processes, engineering cost estimations, and contract approval workflows.
  12. Monitor contract implementation to ensure compliance with commercial, operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  13. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to contract management, material management, procurement processes, and operational efficiency.
  14. Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, environmental requirements, occupational health and safety regulations, and management systems, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK2, SMK3, PROPER, and EBTKE requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Experience in contract administration, procurement, maintenance support, supply chain operations, or related functions within industrial, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or operational environments is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms, particularly SAP, is an advantage.
  • Exposure to budgeting, cost monitoring, inventory management, or contractor coordination is preferred.
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple functions and external partners.
  • Understanding of contract administration, procurement processes, and cost control principles.
  • Familiarity with inventory management, material planning, and ERP systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support reliable geothermal operations by ensuring contracts, services, and materials are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Improve operational efficiency through effective contract coordination, cost monitoring, and material management practices.
  • Strengthen compliance with procurement, environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Enable better financial visibility through accurate budget tracking, reporting, and contract performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to the long-term reliability and sustainability of one of Indonesia's largest geothermal operations.
