Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in warehouse management or logistics.
• Experience in asset-intensive industries preferred (geothermal/oil & gas/mining/manufacturing).
• Proficient in SAP WM and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to drive improvements and manage priorities.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety standards (ISO 14001/45001, SMK3) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, issuance and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.

Job description

Star Energy Geothermal is looking for a Warehouse Specialist to support the safe, efficient, and reliable management of warehouse operations across our Salak Geothermal Operations.

This role is responsible for overseeing inventory control, material management, warehouse governance, and logistics support to ensure the timely availability of materials required for plant operations, drilling activities, maintenance programs, and strategic capital projects. As part of Indonesia's leading geothermal energy producer, this role will contribute to operational reliability, cost optimization, compliance, and continuous improvement across the supply chain and warehouse functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, and inventory control activities.
2. Ensure warehouse activities are executed in accordance with company policies, standard operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
3. Coordinate warehouse personnel, contractors, and third-party service providers to support operational and project requirements.
4. Maintain inventory accuracy through stock counting, reconciliation activities, material transaction monitoring, and warehouse control processes.
5. Oversee warehouse documentation, reporting, record management, and system transactions to ensure data integrity and traceability.
6. Support internal, external, and regulatory audits by maintaining required documentation and coordinating corrective actions where necessary.
7. Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety performance, and compliance.
8. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, contractors, and service providers to ensure effective material management and logistics support.
9. Support inventory planning and material availability to meet operational, maintenance, drilling, and project requirements.
10. Promote continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse operations, inventory governance, material handling processes, and supply chain effectiveness.
11. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and sustainability requirements, including ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3, and other applicable management systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management, inventory control, material management, or logistics operations.
• Experience within geothermal, oil & gas, mining, energy, manufacturing, or other asset-intensive industries is preferred.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations, inventory controls, material handling, and logistics support activities.
• Experience supervising contractors, outsourced personnel, or warehouse teams.
• Strong understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control processes, and material handling practices.
• Knowledge of receiving, storage, preservation, issuance, reconciliation, and warehouse governance processes.
• Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management or equivalent ERP platforms.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams, coach personnel, and drive operational improvements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic operational environment.
