Job summary

PT China Construction Yangtze River Indonesia is seeking a Construction Purchasing | Warehouse Keeper to oversee procurement and warehouse operations in West Cikarang, West Java. The role combines purchasing expertise with storage management to ensure materials are procured cost-effectively, stored safely, and ready for project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement or warehouse management for construction/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of construction materials and procurement practices.
• Proficiency in inventory systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify suppliers and negotiate prices to save costs while ensuring quality.
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to sites.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock checks.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand material requirements and delivery specs.
• Receive, inspect and verify incoming materials against specs.
• Organise warehouse storage with proper labeling and accessibility.
• Monitor stock levels and trigger reorders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Prepare reports on inventory, procurement activities and warehouse performance.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental compliance in warehouse operations.
• Liaise with suppliers and logistics providers to resolve delivery issues.
